Nutrition-Packed Smoothie

If you're looking for a nutrition-packed, nutrient-dense, calorie-rich, healthy ingredient, creamy delicious smoothie - I GOT YOU. Low calorie smoothies aren't always the best option. A few reasons you may actually need more calories:

  • You're hungry

  • You're unsatisfied after meals

  • You're physically active and/or sweating

  • You're menstruating

  • You're pregnant or breast feeding

  • You're trying to gain weight

  • You're trying to lose weight

What you'll need:

  • 1/2 avocado

  • 2 Tbsp ground chia seed

  • 1 1/4 Tbsp cashew butter or nut butter of choice

  • 1 c raw kale, chopped finely

  • 1/2 c whole milk

  • 1/4 c whole milk plain Greek yogurt

  • 1 c frozen strawberries

How to:

1. Add all ingredients into a blender & blend

2. Add ice or liquid as desired to make the smoothie thinner or thicker, respectively

3. Top with nut butter & granola for added texture & fun
