Better your health and your relationship with food whenever, wherever, at your own pace.

Throughout my time in nutrition, I’ve seen and worked with so many different people. I’ve been in the preschool, elementary school, middle school, college campus, cafeteria, hospital, non-profit, school garden, farm, farmer's market, food pantry, soup kitchen, long term care, moms groups, rehabilitation center, diabetes center, and eating disorder treatment center. I’ve worked with so many different people from all different walks of life. The one thing all of my clients, friends, and family want to learn is  WHAT IS A HEALTHY DIET?
You can learn that independently & at your own pace in a few quick sessions provided by my online nutrition course: Nutrition Foundations. It is a full-circle, professional guided, nutrition education course that teaches you about nutrition without numbers and triggering language.

What is the course?

This is a 3-week nutrition education course led by me, a registered dietitian nutritionist. I’m going to teach you the most fundamental information you need to improve your understanding of nutrition and your relationship with a balanced diet.

In this course we will focus on 3 main objective for adults

1. Learn & Understand the Nutrition Guidelines for Adults

2. Learn & Understand the Components of a Balanced Diet

3. Apply General Nutrition Guidelines to Your Life & Body

What will you get from the course?

  • an understanding of the USDA/HHS dietary guidelines, macronutrients and micronutrients & how to apply that knowledge in real life

  • encouragement to view nutrition & a balanced diet through a flexible and non-rigid perspective

  • encouragement to be gracious with yourself, nutrition, & your needs

  • video content

  • a registered dietitian nutritionist (aka qualified clinician) walking you through each slide

  • a few fun facts - just like we're in session!

  • insight to differentiate general recommendations & when you should seek out a dietitian 1:1

  • handouts to make grocery shopping easier, cost effective & time efficient

Is it worth it?

100% You have my word that this course contains hours & hours of dietitian-dedication to make sure it’s worth your time and resources. I am so proud of the work I did here & would not offer it to you if I wasn’t!

It’ll be like we’re doing 1:1 nutrition education. Without the 1:1 recommendations but honestly, this information could be a slew of education sessions all wrapped in one. So if you decide to do 1:1 counseling after you take it, we’ll be able to jump right into the deep stuff. You get to digest it on your time, considering your schedule & at your pace! You can spread it out into small chunks, take notes and go back and review.

You’’ll come away feeling and empowered to make informed decisions that positively impact how you nourish your body & your relationship with food. This is made to be convenient for you - all in one place and easy to understand. No rigidity, no restrictions, no diets. Just the facts with plenty of resources for you to reference later.

This course was wonderful in the knowledge of nutrition and the ease of understanding.  I very much enjoyed the fact that all food is good and healthy at every size.  I liked the shopping list and look forward to incorporating it into my shopping life. Excellent class, I would recommend it to everyone because knowledge is power!!
