Pink Tahini Smoothie
What is tahini? Basically, toasted sesame seed butter! It has a bold, sesame/nutty flavor & provides some healthy fat and a little protein. It's an odd thing to add into a smoothie, but makes the flavor fun and complex! This is just a fun & summery smoothie. Add frozen zucchini for a veggie boost & hemp hearts for added healthy fat & protein. I also added some Amazing Grass detox & digest powder for an extra green boost & zing - totally optional.
What you'll need:
1/2 c frozen mixed berries
1/2 c frozen zucchini
1-2 tsp tahini
2 Tbsp hemp hearts
2 Tbsp coconut oil
1 c water
1 serving Amazing Grass detox & digest powder - OPTIONAL
How to:
1. Add all ingredients to a blender & blend
2. Add more ice or liquid to make the texture thicker or thinner, respectively
3. Sit in the sun & enjoy!
